AP TET 2025 Eligibility Criteria
To ensure that only the most qualified candidates apply, the AP TET has set specific eligibility requirements for Paper I and Paper II.
Paper-I (For Classes I-V)
Candidates must fulfill at least one of the following conditions:
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, as per NCTE guidelines.
- Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Special Education.
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and a B.Ed.
Paper-II (For Classes VI-VIII)
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) in accordance with NCTE guidelines.
- Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and a 4-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
